Wwplay — Wwise Profile Playback

Wwplay reads Wwise Profile Captures and plays them back in real time via WAAPI commands, letting you execute any number of edits and hear them instantly in the context of other game sounds, without needing to boot the game or rebuild soundbanks. Wwplay also includes a custom Reaper plugin that syncs playback to your DAW timeline. By capturing a Wwise Profile and a gameplay video at the same time, you can load the video into Reaper and the profile into Wwplay to seamlessly design to picture with perfectly synced Wwise Event/RTPC/Switch/State playback. This workflow is highly useful for designing new sounds, tuning sounds that are already implemented, and fine-tuning cinematic transitions. Not sure if it will work with your setup? MCP Wwise

An open-source MCP server for Wwise/WAAPI with a focus on safe, schema-validated automation for AI agents. Unlike raw WAAPI payload authoring, this server adds input contract validation, semantic preflight checks, and runtime diagnostics — catching common pitfalls (missing @ prefixes, key casing errors, malformed payloads) before they reach Wwise. Includes high-level helper tools for complex operations like RTPC bindings so agents don't have to hand-craft nested JSON.
